The PCIe Card Alarm is a high-isolation peripheral monitoring card designed for 5G base station servers, enabling early fault detection and real-time alerting through up to 8 dry-contact sensor inputs.
Built on a 4-layer FR-4 TG160 PCB (68.8 × 130 mm), the card connects directly to a server's PCI Express x1 V1.0 slot — drawing all required power from the slot without any additional cabling. The gold-plated, green-masked board ensures long-term corrosion resistance.
Each of the 8 dry-contact input channels is galvanically isolated from the device at ≥ 2,500 VDC, protecting the host server from external transients or ground potential differences at remote sensor locations.
An integrated SMA female output port supplies 5V±1V (≥35 mA) with ≥ 1,000 VDC isolation, designed to power the companion GPS Surge Protection Module. Linux-compatible driver software is provided for seamless server integration.
Supports 8 independent dry-contact inputs for connecting environmental sensors such as door alarms, smoke detectors, temperature sensors, and power fault indicators at 5G base stations.
Each input channel is isolated at ≥ 2,500 VDC from the host device, preventing ground loops and protecting the server from hazardous voltages that may appear at remote sensor locations.
Fully compatible with PCI Express x1 V1.0 slots. The card is powered directly from the PCIe connector at 12V (≤ 0.5A), requiring no additional power cables or external adapters.
Features a dedicated SMA female port delivering 5V±1V at ≥ 35 mA with ≥ 1,000 VDC isolation — purpose-built to supply the companion GPS Surge Protection Module without interference.
Includes a Linux-compatible software driver for seamless integration into server environments, enabling monitoring applications to read alarm states and control outputs via standard OS interfaces.
Operates from -10°C to +55°C with 5%–85% relative humidity tolerance, making it suitable for continuous 24/7 deployment in 5G station equipment rooms and outdoor cabinet environments.
